Day 6….the 6th day of unemployment, not counting the day it happened or today. Which would make it 8 days. 8 days of feeling mostly awesome, a bit freaked out, hurt and excited.¬† This is my ‘for now’ future and I am determined to embrace the experience, to take time and figure out what I want to be when I grow up, or maybe I’ll choose not to grow up at all. I’ll keep you posted.

So far I’ve made the following decisions: work out every day…or 5 times per week, 3 for sure depending on what else is going on. Walk the dogs every day, most days, 4 days a week minimum. Don’t drink wine every night, slippery slope, take Mondays and Wednesdays off, and no more than 1 glass Tuesday and Thursday, or 2, no more than 2. Weekends are exempt from any rules.

Some advice, if you use a cell phone provided by your employer¬† (or your work email) for personal things like Apple, LinkedIn or Facebook. STOP! change everything to a personal phone number and personal email, trust me, it’s a huge pain when you give that phone back and don’t have access to the email address. Of course it’s such a hassle that it does distract you from NOT HAVING A BLOODY JOB!

I’ve never done a blog before so please bear with me. Also my intent is to keep the posts to 250 words or less, seems like a lot doesn’t it?
