Ego – Part Two – what happened?

The day had arrived

after weeks of prep and stress.

I wanted to be early,

I was late,

the roads were a mess!

An overnight snowfall

was slowing everyone down.

Bumper to bumper,

slipping sliding,

I had to get across town!

Through snow and ice

I arrive breathless but calm.

As I’m saying hello,

nice to see you,

The fire alarm!

Two hours later

and the session’s complete.

Driving home I assess,

would I do another?

oh YEAH BABY! In a heartbeat!

Some of you might remember that in January I posted about agreeing to do a presentation in a blog called Ego. So many of you lovely readers and blogging friends were supportive so here this an update.

p.s. aside from the terrible traffic due to the snowstorm and the fire alarm that caused the building to be evacuated (in minus 25 degree weather) the session went really well.

Thanks again to everyone who whispered in my ear… “you got this”.
