Dance Baby Dance

I read a blog today that really resonated with me, to such a degree that I’m setting aside my planned post in it’s honour.  I was also challenged by Simon Wood to do 3 quotes over 3 days. This was the second challenge quote, the first one came in when I was on holidays and I didn’t have decent internet…unfortunately, and I’m very sorry for this but I can’t remember who put that challenge forward.

“Dance As If There’s Nobody Watching”

There are very few things you can do that make you feel as good as turning up the tunes, kicking off your shoes (or putting on really high heels) and just feeling the music. And don’t EVER let anyone tell you  “that’s not dancing”….dancing is personal and different for each of us.

Just keep moving and have fun.

You know what else can make you feel good?  reading these blogs:

1 Kindness 2 Day

Unsolicited Life

Thriving Not Surviving

The post that inspired me today was from Reflections Of An Untidy Mind and is called Born To Be Alive, please check it out.

I looked up who wrote this quote and there are three contenders Mark Twain, Satchel Paige, and William Purkey, thanks to Quote Investigator for the info.

The rules say to challenge three people every day, but I’m going to break the rules and instead challenge everyone who reads this to have at least one impromptu dance party this weekend!

And I highly recommend you check out the blogs I’ve mentioned.

Stay Calm and Keep Dancing

  1. Thanks for the mention. I shall have a little dance in honour of your quote. Yours in Boogie Wonderland. Tracy.

  2. Oooh, thanks for the generous shout out. Yep, that would be me who nominated you for a quote challenge 😅. No worries about being away or anything. We shall enjoy reading and posting along whenever we can 💕

  3. I love when a certain song comes on and you just can’t help but get up and move. Such a stress reliever! And thank you for the shout out – I really appreciate it and am glad you enjoy the blog!
